The UF/IFAS Center for Public Issues Education in Agriculture and Natural Resources partnered with the Agriculture Institute of Florida on September 7 to present a workshop on the effective use of video in communication.
Workshop participants learned about PIE Center research, including research on the right channel, frame, and source when communicating with video. One workshop session included information about the use of Facebook Live and best practices learned from experience.
The workshop concluded with a hands-on activity where participants learned about video storytelling and how to shoot video using mobile devices. Participants had the opportunity to use innovative mobile device tools to shoot video and practice interviewing other participants on camera.
If you are interested in learning more about the effective use of video, the workshop sessions were recorded on Facebook Live and archived on the PIE Center’s Facebook page. Videos of the workshops are also linked below.
