Sonia ColemanWhat is your favorite part of the PIE Center?

My favorite part of the PIE Center is the whole PIE! I really like how everything and everyone works together to push further public understanding. It’s really neat getting to be a part of helping change public perception in a mindful, meaningful way, about important (current and relevant) issues.

What are you currently working on?

I am always working in the backdrop of many projects. I consider myself a stagehand to help prepare a show. I’m part of just about every show, every project, handing some sort of paperwork or details that may not necessarily be exciting, but are very necessary.

Do you have a hidden talent?

Several, but if I told you, they wouldn’t be hidden!

What are you afraid of?

Things in the water coming to eat me. You won’t talk me into wading in a swamp or sketchy lake. Loch Ness could be there…waiting.

What is a fun fact that no one may know about you?

I have lost an entire person in weight over the past five years (140 lbs!)

If you could have any super power, what would it be?

To be able to take away pain or illness from someone, by taking it on myself.

If someone asked you for a random piece of advice, what would it be?

Be yourself, be happy.

What are your hobbies?

Reading, going to sports events, games, cooking, being outdoors, doing anything silly and fun with my 9-year-old son.

If you could meet anyone in history, who would it be?

Vincent Van Gogh

What is your favorite type of PIE?

Lemon Meringue or Key Lime, tough call
