Consumer Knowledge & Awareness of Technologies to Combat Citrus Greening

A national group of researchers led by Kansas State University will team up to develop a treatment for citrus greening as part of this five-year, $9.8 million project. PIE Center researchers will examine consumer perceptions in Florida, California and Texas toward the use of biotechnologies in fighting citrus greening. The PIE Center will also develop and test potential marketing messages and provide input into the development of educational materials.
