Natural Resources: Endangered & Invasive Species

The goal of the Don’t Pack a Pest program is to safeguard agriculture by educating the traveling public about the risks associated with transporting agricultural products such as seeds, food and plants when they travel. In previous research, listed below, the PIE Center helped develop marketing materials and evaluated their success. The results provided feedback for improving the program’s website. Researchers will now assess the impact of the new website as it relates to protecting the United States from invasive species brought in by travelers.
