The University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS) Center for Public Issues Education (PIE Center) collected public opinion data from a nationwide sample from March 13-16 to find out the public’s knowledge and concerns related to COVID-19, their level of preparedness for a pandemic of this nature, and the channels where they are receiving information. The PIE Center will provide recommendations to communication, media and Extension professionals on ways to best inform the public about the pandemic based on research results.
